I’ve been producing podcasts for other people for the last ten years; acting, business, football, mental health, beauty, balayage, AI... You name it, I’ve made a podcast about it. But, last year, I thought I’d make one for myself about the things that really interested me. Clothes and culture.

I’ve been fascinated by clothes since I was a kid. From picking what to wear for non-uniform day and getting the “right” trainers at high school, making merch for bands and club nights I was involved with, picking the right technical gear to go adventuring in and finally, in my later years, to modelling. I realised everyone has a life-story to tell through fabrics, logos, shoe-choices and fashion fails, and with the My Own Garms podcast, I wanted to bring those stories to life.

My Own Garms is a podcast about clothes. In each episode I speak to a person who has an interesting relationship with the clothes they wear. Paris, London, New York, Milan - I’m here for all of that. But what I really want to know is; What coat did you have in year 10? Which pair of socks are you most emotionally bonded to? and which pair of your dad’s trainers do you reckon you could actually get away with wearing?

My Own Garms is the place where we discuss the garments that have shaped us.
